RIS Dropbox Payments

Due to a recent turn of events, we will no longer be accepting any kind of payments for rent in our dropbox outside the office. We have had issues with some people not filling out the money order correctly and if they are lost or stolen, they are just like cash and a thief has had no problem cashing those money orders by altering them. Unfortunately, this has lead to our decision to not allow payments outside at all.

We have placed signs on the dropbox that we no longer accept any payments in to the drop box. If anyone puts any payment in the drop box and we do not receive it, we will not be held accountable from this day forward.

Our preference is that you pay your rent online. Go to www.nebraskaris.com and click “Pay Online”. If you do not want to do this, you may pay by mail, set up an auto-pay through your bank OR bring your payment into our office during office hours. Our office is open Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm. Rent is due on the first of the month and it is late after 5:00 on the 5th of every month, no matter what day the 5th lands on. If you mail your payment in and it is POSTMARKED (by the USPS) by the 5th of the month, it is considered on time.

We have also placed a small black drop box inside the office by our front door. If you do not want a receipt, you are welcome to throw your payment in there instead of waiting for your turn at the front desk. We will empty this indoor drop box daily.
